Re-number display monitors

I just re-installed video driver and now for some reason nvidia video decides my primary monitor is #2 and secondary monitor is #1 (I'm using dual view). This confuses a bunch of my apps and makes them display on the wrong monitor and do other funky things. Is there a way to re-number the displays?
 
There should be a check box under Display properties that allows you to choose the proper monitor as your primary monitor. However, if this problem is what I think it is, you'll have to do a little disconnecting to get it correct.

What I used to do was disconnect the monitor you wanted as #2 and boot up the computer so it detects the proper monitor as #1. Then I'd power down, reconnect #2 and boot up again. That would usually set things straight.
