Per Core Temp reading, my quad i7 870 is 65*C, 62*C, 64*C and 64*C. Is this safe, running
18 hours daily in Distributed Computing year round? Am concerned. Any advice will be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot. joseps75
 
You don't need to worry with load temps that low. Once you start passing the 85c mark is when you need to look at better cooling.
 
your temps are fine anything below 80c is fine. the core i7 860/870 has a 100c max

I run my i7 870 @ 4ghz for months now and don't have problems
