Our company server had just quit because the mobo went bad. Had a local computer store (Softek) rebuild the machine while upgrading cpu, motherboard, hdd. They transferred all the files over and the server works great. Much faster.
However there is one machine (M1) that can see the server and the server can see (M1) however whenever someone uses (M1)and tries to open files on the server it makes the files read-only). In the past whenever (M1) use to access to server for information the message box with open and ask for a password. However that does happen anymore.
Any ideas??? All machine run Win98SE or Win98.
