Re-foaming speakers

My front speakers (Design Acoustics PS-10a) are vintage and I was just doing a once over on them and noticed that the woofer foam was rotted pretty badly. How difficult is it to repair the speakers to get them back to their original quality?
 
You have two options-

Or you can try finding a suitable replacement driver. Of course slapping any driver that physically fits isn't going to give good results.
 
It isn't hard to redo the surrounds as long as you get the correct measurements. Check for other dry rot on the spider but that should be fine.
