Re-config Internet connection problem

Hello?.Anyone out there know how I can get Win XP Pro to allow me to configure my dial-up modem so that I can get on the Internet. Some months back I had a US Robotics 56K dial-up modem working fine on my wife?s machine, then something went sour, so I replaced the old modem and am now tryinig to re-configure the new modem?.sounds easy enough. Windows recognizes the modem in the device manager and I get positive feedback when I query the modem?.but using the Internet setup Wizard, I get stuck on the part where I am asked to choose what type of connection I want.

I want to click on the button saying ?connect using a dial-up modem? but unlike this image, it is greyed-out leaving only the broadband option.

Any ideas on how to get me going again? Thanks for your help
