RDRAM vs. SDRAM

I have 512mb RDRAM right now. I am thinking of upgrading to a gig or two of RAM. RDRAM can get expensive. Can I simply just buy SDRAM to replace the RDRAM that i have now?

not unless your mobo supports both RD and SD RAM and you would have different slots for each kind. I don't think intel did that, if it is RDRAM.

Although now that I think about it you could get a converter but the converter added latency and makes it worse than regular SDRAM.
