RDRAM vs DDR

Lets say I was going to build a computer today would RDRAM be a better choice than DDR. This computer will be gaming.

RDRAM provides the fastest performance with Pentium 4 processors, and also seems to have the best benchmarks in gaming.

However, there are no further RDRAM chipsets currently on Intel's roadmap after the i850E. SiS does have a coming RDRAM chipset though.

RDRAM is only the fastest if you overclock your cpu and ram, DDR400 at CAS2 gets about the same scores on the latest SiS chipset according to the latest Tomshardware reviews as PC1066 RDRAM on I850E, from my personal experiance RDRAM is MUCH FASTER than DDR at PC1200 (150 fsb) and higher

Well at the time i build my computer RDRAM was really expensive so i went with DDR. I might use RDRAM as a future upgrade replace my motherboard and all.
