Hi quick q.

I have a dell 8250
with a 2.6 ghz 533 fsb processor

do I need to get rdram pc 800 or 1066?
im kinda confused
if the proc is 533 fsb shouldnt pc800 be fine?

thanks in advance!

Download CPU-Z and it should tell you what speed your current RAM is running at (Memory tab). You may want to just ditch that system altogether though, RDRAM is ridiculously expensive and you could put that money towards a system that will blow your P4 away. It's almost like putting $1500 worth of repairs into a car that's only worth $1000 at best.

I know rdram is $$

I just had the upgrade bug and wanted to add some ram to it.
it's been rock solid pc been on for a good 3 years without turning it off

not really looking for another pc (too many already heh)
