I have a dell dimension 8200 with 2 x 256mb and 2 x 64mb of pc800, 40ns, non ecc rdram in my system.

I want to upgrade and dump the 2 x 64. I can get a deal on 2 x 256mb 1066 rdram.

can i use the pc800 and pc1066 together???

I know it will only run as fast as the slowest memory, but will it work?

thanks in advance!

I assume the PC800 is 16Bit, thus running in pairs?? Is the PC1066 16bit or 32 bit..If its 32bit it wont work together, in my experience..I used to have Asus P4T533, and it wouldn't work for me..
