RDP server not responding

Every once in a while I won't be able to RDP into my home PC (WinXP SP2). When i try to connect, the login screen comes up but after i login successfully the login prompt disappears and the session hangs. I can login fine locally. When i reboot the machine RDP works fine again. I cant figure out what causes this.

Anyone have any ideas?
 
check what apps you are running. Sometiems you jsut have to give it some time and rerty because a bunch of apps are loading. especially if that user isn't logged in on the loacl machine.
 
yeah im logged in fine. And when it does this, the problem occurs until i reboot. I tried it all day today. Event log is blank too. :😕:
