Why does it take forver before pproxy.iodbbs.com flushs rc5 work to edge.teamanandtech.com ? www.teamanandtech.com/dnet stats say I havnt been seen in hours. Is there a reason for this huge delay?

How can I get my client to download 4000 wu? Its starts to but stops after getting so many.

Who in the world is jwt@babbage.ie who is doing 60k-70k blocks a day and who is havoc@totalhavoc.net? Both of them have just ran over me on Mikas as if I was standing still.....

The RC5 client seems to have a 2K limit. You can use Sneaky to get around this.

Here are the answers: 🙂

Unless the max thresholds are met, my pproxy will only dump once an hour (forced flush). When the end of day is getting close, it is flushed an extra time to make sure all blocks/stubs reach the keyserver in time.
BTW, pproxy.iodbbs.com is now aliased as core (keyserver), and dumps directly to D.Net.

The task scheduler on Edge/www got stuck when it was moved. The log fetcher task was still broken as of this morning (which I fixed a couple hours ago), which pulls the logs off my pproxy. PPSTATS was operational, but was only generating off of the old data. 😱 As it is, stats.iodbbs.com & www.teamanandtech.com are now identical (other then cosmetic changes).

Make sure your client is set to preferred-block-size=33. It also depends on how fragmented the keyspace is from D.Net. So it could be sending your client a lot of small blocks. Once the buff-in.rc5 reaches a file size of 65K, it will no longer fetch blocks. i.e.: if your client only receives small blocks, it will rapidly fill up that 65K size limt.

JWT is a new member, and originally was doing massive OGR work. He seems to have switched a large amount of his herd to RC5 and is now taking out everyone in his path. 🙂 Not sure about Havoc.
