I was wondering how to read the benchmark in RC5. My benchmark says that it is cracking at 2,397,726.22 keys/sec. Is that about 2.39 million keys a second or what? Also, it says that the project won't be finished for about another 700 days! How many of us do you think will stick with it for 700 days? I might, especially when I get my own apartment.
 
heh heh... many of the folks here have been at it since day 1... I personally am almost at my anniversary! 🙂
 
There are a lot of keys to check. I came up with an interesting analogy regarding the scope of RC5-64. If you needed a standard jumper for your motherboard, and there was only one jumper left in the whole world, and you had to search the entire land surface of the Earth to find it... well, that's about the size of it. 😉:Q
