man talk about feeling like a newbie....
ok, how do I get the client to stop connecting?
I have the dnetc.ini set like this
[parameters]
id=officeboy@bbwsd.com

[rc5]
randomprefix=211
preferred-blocksize=33
fetch-time-threshold=8

[misc]
project-priority=DES,CSC,OGR=0,RC5

[networking]
autofindkeyserver=no
keyserver=teamanandtech.dhs.org

[buffers]
frequent-threshold-checks=1

I though that would only have it connect every 8 hours.... 😕

[buffers]
frequent-threshold-checks=1

change that to =0

The way you have it, it will dial up after every packet looking for more work to keep the in-buffer full
