I want to set this higher butt the thing says bad stuff could happen. i plan to set it to 4-5, the same priority as screensavers. maybe set it to 1, when i'm doin some more serous stuff.

what bad stuff could happen if i adjust the prority level?
 
if you change it too high, you could end up making it so that your computer takes a loooooooooooooong time to show the movement of the cursour if the mouse is moved. Don't set it high....okay? Generally not a good idea....some guys have tried working with this, to see how much of an impact it has on performance, and its really negligable..

BTW - its best to change the screen saver to "blank scree" 🙂
 
Yeah. I?m one of those Morons. 😉

I couldn't click on anything (the cursor moved fine, but slow). I had to reboot the computer, and it was set to the lowest settings again (Automatically).
