RC5 + P4

I am NOT going to continue this, mainly based on the fact that I do NOT want to upset anyone. My post was NOT a personal attack WHATSOEVER, I was mostly kidding around, because it looked to me that in the first bunch of posts, people were jumping to conclusions that the P4 sucks at RC5, and thats all that needs to be said.

I do NOT want this to excalate any futher. Lets just leave it as the misunderstanding which it was.

The way I see it is if a new architecture can crack well without a core for it, then that is a plus, and is not unfair to that cpu to bench it, but its unfair to the competition :Q

BTW has anyone seen BK around? I can't seem to find him, I think he must be invisible 😛

haha, this is turning into an intel/AMD zealot flame war. The way I see it, the P4 has massive amounts of bandwidth suiting it for large matricies, factoring and such. Not for RC5. Give it something big to chew on and it'll beat the hell out of any mainstream chip, except maybe Motorola 7400.

One thing to add, Mods, if this thread gets bad, will you please lock it and/or delete all the posts from my original on down. I don't want to see TA argue over something so stupid again :|
