rc5 distributed client and matrox card?

Am now running the client on my little '95 box now, but:

Was wondering if anyone had any visual problems with distritubted client and matrox mga millenium video card (that is if anyone has these cards anymore) 😉

Client runs, just has all kinds of lines and gibberish on it (mainly vertical lines)

Don't know about that particular card, but I run a few boxes with Matrox Mystique cards and dnet client...try resizing the dnet client window...that cleared up some gunk on a couple of work machines.

I have some work cows that use the Matrox vid card, not sure which one, and some I've been able to clear up by resizing the client. Most of the time it doesn't bother me as I use the CLI commands most of the time. :Q

I have a Matrox Millennium 2MB card as my secondary display adapater in my main system, and haven't had any graphics corruption problems with it.

if have no probs at home with a G400.
At school some comps have older matrox millenium cards, and at least some of them have similar problems (funny colors, lines, etc) when
resizing the dnetc window. Not all of them have those probs.. it may be driver related (?)

boy is my face red 😱

Last night when I posted that, I tried enlarging the window dragging from the bottom and it didn't go anywhere.

This morning I wake up, check it, and was moving the window to a picturesque are so I could take a screen shot of it. When I grabbed the top, the window enlarged and the lines and gibberish went away.. heheh..

Thanks for the responses 🙂

Don't worry about it. You learn something new every day working with these infernal computers! 🙂
