RC5 auto launch

I've downloaded the latest version and I don't see an option for the client to autolaunch. Am I not seeing an option here in client configuration? What I've done is just copy dnet.exe into my startup folder, for now.

While just copying the DNETC client executable into a folder will allow it to run, it isn't very smart. That is why there is an "installable" version on their download page. It will ask you if you want it to autostart. Then it will take you to the configurations screens.

Simply replacing or copying the DNETC.EXE file is best for upgrading clients, not for your first ever installation.

But, putting a shortcut in the startup folder is a very easy way to autostart the client.

I had unstialled the previous 2.7xxxx version, so it a clean'er' upgrade.

Still don't see autostart in my client.

Another option is to run the install for the client. If you run dnet -install it will set up the client to start as a service. That way it will start to run as soon as the system comes up, but before you log in. Since it is running with the login window up you can nget more work out of it in situations where the machine spends most of it's time waiting at the login prompt.
