I'm getting a rate of 3.1M keys/sec for my P4 2.133 Ghz machine. Is that faster than the P4 Williamette?

I've heard that the P4 is faster in Seti@Home....should I run that instead? Thanks.

By all means run Seti on that P4!

The speed calculator HERE will help in determining which cpus are good at RC5. ;)

As for comparison, an Athlon 900 will do just about as well at RC5 as your 2.1 GHz P4.

Humm, the numbers are definately a bit high compared to what the average multiplier was for the original P4.:eek: Does anyone else here have P4s of any kind to benchmark RC5 on; I'd like to see if we somehow got screwed up by either an Intel tweak, or a client upgrade.

Yeah I see to get 1.42 - 1.44 compareed to the 1.35 on the TA speed page seems to run faster that 1.44 when the screen saver goes blank :) - Now we need a more opitmazied client for the P4 :D

P4 2.0Ghz, Willamette 256k L2

Client = dnetc v2.8015-469-GTR-01051420 for Win32 = 2,824,705 keys/sec

Equal to an Athlon 850 :(

Ha Ha Ha!

Motorola G4 550Mhz in my Apple Powerbook G4...5.65 Mkeys/sec.

Don't mess with the G4 in RC5!
