RC5-64 Prize Money Breakdown

For those that are interested, Dnet posted the breakdown for the RC5-64 prize money. A quick summerization if you don't remember: The RC5-64 contest had a $10K prize furnished by RSA. Upon completion of RC5-64, Dnet would distribue the money in that 60% would go to a non-profit organization(voted by the # of blocks), 10% to the winner, 10% to the winner's team, and 20% to Dnet.

Well, Dnet was the NPO that won, so under Plan B, the money went as follows: $6K to Dnet, $2K to the winner(they didn't belong to a team, so they got that chunk too), and $2K to the runner-up NPO, the Free Software Foundation. Congratulations to the winner again(who is hopefully using the money to buy a new machine😉), and congratulations to the FSF, which is now $2K richer.🙂

Sorry Virge spent alot more money, time and effort than what the project would have paid off, but enjoyed the team now am doing DF and D2OL!
