I don't mean to thread crap, but there was a very similar RC Stealth Plane being sold by JCPenny (that's what the thread was about here, I got mine at Wal-Mart) for $30-$40 or so. The plane was made of a hard foam and the charge only lasted for 30 minutes or so.

I had fun with mine, until I threw it into the wind (like you're suppose to do) and it snapped into two pieces. Took it back to wal-mart and got my money back. It was fun while I had it though :)

That plane has absolutely nothing in common with the one you can buy in Wal-Mart. I have them both. This one can probably do about 60 mph, and has one huge electric motor. The ones at Wal-Mart have 2 dinky motors and are about 1/3 the size of this.

Its a great deal @ 139.99. Plus, it looks damn cool flying around.

So what is this plane made of? Is it durable?

"the B-2 is made from EPA high density foam that's virtually indestructible and spans an impressive 48 inches from wing-tip to wing-tip"

Yeah, it's really big, and pretty fast for being so cheap.

I was surprised at its stability too. I expected to have it swishing around when trying to maneuver.

Right now, many R/C vendors have good sale prices (the flying season is over in most of the states).
For this much money, you can buy a much better plane.

For example, HobbyPeople sell Watt-Age Crazy 8 with Cobalt 400 motor (the free motor may require some cupon code, I saw it in their catalog) for $75:

You just need to add your radio, ESC and battery.

The Megatech B-2 for is $139 doesn't have radio either. I'd expect its battery to be a crappy NiCad, which cab be bought for $10.

Nope. This includes *everything* to fly, except batteries for the remote. Its a great deal for an awsome looking, good flying plane.

That's a good price. My dealer cost for the MegaStealth is $120. Although I personally think Megatech stuff megasucks. I have heard good things about this plane though, and bad things about the other ones.

If anybody buys this, I have a NEW "8.4v NiMH Megabattery" for this plane you can have for $5 shipped. It's been sitting in my office for a year. It probably works but there are no guarantees.

Real jet. We went to the "Heart of Ohio Jet Scramble" on a whim and it was very neat. There were very few ducted fans there. I've got some neat pics but never got them all up yet.

They do have mini Gas Turbine Engines. They even have mini Turboprops.

How about an engine turning 190,000 RPM?
