it's cheaper to just get a replacement case from ebay for 30 bucks or somethin'

don't always trust repair joints

'cuz to send it will cost shipping and they'll probably ask that you pay for shipping back as part of the repair price

sometimes you aren't sent the original parts of the phone, which could be a good thing if they're givin' you a better microchip board 'n stuff - but refurb defectives are the worse upon opening the package..

anyway, order a external set, extract and replace, simple, but don't bend or brake anything

Thanks for the reply.

I ended up using the insurance and got a new one. cost me less than 50 bucks that way. i was just wondering if any place would be good and cheap to fix it. i wanted to fix so as to not have the issue with replacing alll the address book but had to anyway.

It bloody sucks to lose your address book.

I din' care about the contacts, but I regretted it later.

You could've just copied each contact to your SIM card, by using repeated finger commands in pattern. It takes a couple minutes though.

Gettin' a 4th... razr from 3rd party company as a replacement. What a bloody head ache. These things are fragile and the circuit boards are crappy.
