Which is better for getting rid of hair on my torso? I'm not very hairy but I find it unsightly. I've been using a razor but I get some ingrown hair.

I use a remington beard and mustache trimmer to trim my chest hair. The no hair look doesn't look very good on my person as I am a rather hairy guy.

I've heard of people bleeding after long uses of Nair :disgust:

I've used Nair to get rid of it and then continued to shave it after. But it's all a pain in the ass. The nair leaves you red and rashy for a few days. Then you have to shave everyday or it itches. One day I'll try waxing. ouch.

I had no idea men shaved their bodies.. for aesthetic reasons, I mean.. is that common? a generational thing maybe? younger men do, men my age don't? a cultural thing?

I learn the weirdest things here..

I use a razor in the shower to shave my chest and lower region. Do it once, rinse off, and then lather up again and do it over to get any stragglers and make it smooth. My girlfriend prefers it smooth and bare over bushy and caveman-like. You look a lot more ripped with no hair as well.

Icy-Hot and Epilstop are two things that should never come into contact with the troops, and yes I'm speaking from experience. (Epilstop was a slip, and Icy-Hot was a cruel, cruel joke)

An upperclassmen put it on my friends girdle before a football practice. I've never seen a person with a look like he had on his face before.

I learn the weirdest things here..

I'm not young (43 on 7/31) but I've never liked hair on my chest and abdomen plus it gives me some incentive to get in better shape.

Here's me with hair and hairless after slimming:

Hairy versus hairless

I thought my wife would laugh at me but surprisingly, she didn't.

be a man and don't shave it. If you look like an ape, oh well...do you really want a superficial woman who won't date a hairy guy?

Damn, not bad! How much working out was that to get you to the point you're at now?

P.S. - The hairless looks much better - like I said, you instantly look a bit more ripped just by shaving as you can ab and rib definition that wasn't there with all the pubes. :) I hate body hair.
