Everyone says thats normal.
I Emailed FAE and they havent replied.

Razer on the other hand Emailed me and sent new feet for my mouse.
And acknowledged a problem during manufacturing installation of feet.

And ...my fUnc 1030 is on it's way.

Is my razer incompatable with the Nforce2 chipset ...?
Could you direct me to more info to fix this Hardware issue ...?

You just go to device manager, right click on the mouse, and manually install the driver.

I already tried that.

My symtoms are different than XP. I have W2K.

When I plug in the mouse to USB. It installs 2 devices no matter what.
When I try to update from location (have DISK) for the HID device in HWM, it says 'no information for device'.

But it's not just this mouse .. it happens for any USB device I install. (like my Cyborg joystick)

And disabling or uninstall either of them ,,, makes the mouse unoperatable.

Ahh I see sorry, I just assumed you were using xp

I loved my Boomslang 2000-no other mouse could come close(the logitech dual optical was as close as I could get)-mine is still sitting in my closet with a sticky LH button.

One of the first things I noticed about the new mouse was how much better the buttons responded. I have a 100 where the buttons were so stiff they were almost unusable. The 2100 however is great.

I received my new feet today. They gave me 2 sets (cuz I Emailed twice?)

Interestingly, they were sent regular mail in a small envelope , from Honolulu Hawaii on the 5th!

Hawaii ...? lol

The feet are just like peal off stickies. Very thin. So,,, if and when my fUnc gets delivered.
I may just apply these over the top of the existing feet. (for more clearance)

It's confirmed the 2100-3 as less clearance than any other of the older models.
And I think, due to the resesses the feet sit in, and the thinkness of the feet I recieved, they may not actually clear the resesses if I took the old ones out.

I'll post back next week.

Why not just stack them?
