Saw this on Razer's web site, love my Razer mouse to death. This looks to be an amazing sound card, the headphones also look pretty good. Web site doesn't say any info on what chipset it uses, but if it's as good as their mice I'm ordering one as soon as they're released

depending on the price, I might buy one. It has a higher SNR then Creative's X-Fi. Of course I wanna find out what kind of 3d audio it supports. If it'll do EAX2 and cost in the 100 range it's a wrap for me.

I would have liked to see another entry into the DDL or DTS connect market. Guess we'll have to wait for Bluegear's card for that one.

they are going to push this hardcore as a gaming card. DTS would have been sick, I'm just glad a known company is going to release an alternative to Creative's products. I know this card has a zero shot in hell at de-throning Creative. But maybe it can make a small place for itself in the market. I'd love to see a high end audio card with good gaming support *best of both worlds*

That's the problem with the Auzentech cards right now. They have the features, they just don't have the support for games/troubleshooting/or drivers. This would make anybody worry about buying one. Sure creatives support isn't great...but their cards generally work well in most any game.

Wow this is an interesting development. I'm interested to see how both their sound card and headphones turn out.

I'm skeptical that it'll offer better gaming performance or quality than Creative's cards, due in no large part to their EAX and everything. However if they can get close, and offer something that can give them an advantage over Creative, I think that gamer's might just eat this up.

As for music and other audio quality, I'm curious to see how it performs there as well. It shouldn't be too hard to match Creative in this area.

My guess is that they probably went with some HD Audio (Azalia, can't think of any of the others) but then put higher quality DACs on it than what Creative uses. If this is true than music quality should be better.

Those headphones look like they might be pretty decent as well, but I have to say I'm more skeptical of them.

Of course price is a big question as well.

They also have a new keyboard that looks pretty slick.

I agree on the keyboard, a shame all the keys arn't backlit like onb the G15. If that was the case I'd almost surely buy it. Since Best Buy carries Razer stuff I'd imagine they'll have these when they come out. I'm definitely going to check out all 3. Been looking for some good cans with a microphone.
