linky!

finally they're about to come out, been curious about these since Razer announced them about a year ago. From the few reviews I've read sounds like these are the 2.1's to have. $400 bucks is crazy, but I don't need 5.1 anymore and I want the best I can get PC wise. Plus they'll go nicely with my razer sound card/keyboard/mouse & headphones. Now all Razer needs to do is release a video card and I'm all set :D

can't wait to actually be able to order these suckers.

seen 3 reviews, all have said "best 2.1 pc speakers we've tested" @ $400 I'm not surprised, the amp used is cutting edge, it actually adjusts depending on volume so you won't get hiss at low volumes or distortion at high volumes. I have to actually hear them before I pass a final judgement, but if the specs are accurate and the reviews are legit. You'd have to go with home theater speakers and spend a lot more to get better sound on a PC.

Are these true high quality speakers with accurate reproduction or are they just generic speakers fancied up with special processing effects (hello Bose)? All I know is that my Klipsch 2.1s are as close to real hi-fi equipment as I've ever seen and I'm not so sure about these razers. Does Razer even design and make these or is this yet another rebadge?

I'm not a Bose fanboy, but while browsing the mall, I happened to audition a pair of these puppies and the sound was really unbelievable. I would have bought them right then except for the price.
