Razer Lycosa Touch Media Controls Don't Work :(

Hey, just joined up to these forums..they seem pretty good.

I bought a Razer Lycosa keyboard just under a year ago and recently the touch sensitive media controls stopped working. I don't really know why and I hate to say it but one day they just stopped. Media controls are a big factor for me and I am upset I no longer can use them. I was looking to buy another keyboard such as the Microsoft Sidewinder but I don't think I'll like it as much as the Lycosa. I really like the Lycosa if you haven't noticed and I don't want to get rid of it or cough up another hundred bucks to buy a new one. Is there a way to fix these controls? Can I order the touch control panel separately? (It comes out)

If any of you know a way to solve a problem, or can suggest a good keyboard with INDIVIDUALLY lit keys, that'd be great!

you could always try contacting Razer support to see if it is a common problem with a solution

I have, they want me to send the keyboard back to them, which I would do except I don't have a replacement and I have opened it up which I think voided the warranty :/

There was an issue with the earlier production batches when they just came out. They actually offered me a free replacement and I didn't even have to send mine back in. The second one they sent me had a completely non functional touchpad so I contacted them and I got ANOTHER ONE for FREE. I don't know if I just lucked out or what but I think they're service was great.

Opened or not just send it back and see what happens. IOn the mean time run out to your local retailer and pick up a cheap $20 KB to use till the hear back from Razer about the issue.
