I have it.
I am a hardcore PC gamer so this is on my dedicated gaming rig.
One of the things about the mirror cosmetically is that I am getting this gunk build-up that seems to be worse than other keyboards.
The lycosa's keys are all slim-profile, meaning they are a lot shorter in height than some other keyboards. Basically they are half the height of a normal key.
I LOVE this feature for gaming, because I use WASD as movement keys, and oftentimes I am needing to move my fingers from one key to another as I change direction, and this allows me to slide to the next key instead of having to pick my finger up slightly and then press back down again. That sounds kind of dorky, but it's how I feel. I imagine some may not like this.
I also make more mistakes when typing out sentences because I easily slip to other keys. So it's a double-edged sword. That's fine for me, because any typing (like this) I do on my workstation rig, which has a normal logitech internet keyboard. Don't get too hung up on this, I can type fine with it.
The lights are are cool and definitely help you find what you are pressing in the dark. I have had this keyboard for like 3 years and they are still bright as ever. They media keys are a little hard to press because they are touch sensitive and close together, so you may hit the wrong thing sometimes.
Not sure what else to say. This lacks the macro buttons and extra buttons a lot of other boards have, but then again it is much narrower in width than other boards as a result. This is another thing that's a double edged sword, but is great IMO because I have an extra large mouse pad (steelseries qck+ heavy) and this helps me avoid the hugging a 100-year-old cypress position with my arms.
As far as the metallic look that the mirror has on the website, it's not really an accurate picture. I would just say it's very glossy black instead of the usual keyboard matte black, and certainly not silvery at all.
