Razer Deathadder synapse question

Hey guys I gotta question about the Deathadder. I love the feel of this mouse thinking about picking one up. How do you change dpi settings? I'm use to a dedicated switch. Like what is on Logitech mice.. I would like have my mouse setup as this :

Side buttons

C

V

wheel for switching weapons and center mouse wheel for scope(FPS). If I dedicate one of buttons to dpi won't I loose my hotkeys? I play a lot FPS games. This is the typical configuration I use. Does synapse software allow to use a shift + key command for switching DPI?

Don't use the Synapse 2.0, grab the older driver version. Whoever decided it was a great idea to have your mouse settings stored in the cloud needs to die from a thousand paper cuts lol.

Not sure about that mouse in particular, but my retired Blackwidow keyboard and my Mamba mouse both used the Razer software. You can set any key or button to whatever you want, which is strangely lacking in the new Logitech software (I can only bind the G keys, not change things like Q to Enter).

However, the Razer software is horribly slow, and often quite buggy. Binding the mouse thumb button to R (for reloading) for example, takes 1 full minute to recognize the change... have to change 20 keys for some game will take 20 minutes which is not acceptable to me. My mouse doesn't even show DPI changes anymore like it used to, shows the wrong DPI, or simply doesn't work.

Retiring this Mamba as soon as the next gen of wireless mice come out.

I can't get even the G keys to map properly in the Logitech software. Well, they seem to map, but they just don't work. I tried mapping a left mouse click to one of the keys and it didn't work.

I haven't had any problem remapping the keys on my G400s. I manually switch my profiles from FPS, Win, and RTS. Sense these are type of games I play most. I switch by selecting default from drop down options on each profile. I don't like using .exe files to switch profiles. I love optical sensor @ lower DPI settings. I'm actually shocked at how well it performs over the last laser mouse I had (G5).. I think G400s is just better overall deal then Deathadder.
