Razer Deathadder...buy or not?

Deathadder is a really good mouse but whether you like it or not depends on how you grip the mouse.

Wait...first thing..tell us about yourself...are you a hardcore gamer? What brand name you had before? So we all will able to determine if Deathadder is right for you or they would recommand you other mouse better than Razer.

I don't always depend on their opinions when look for mouse..I bought a Razer Diamondback because I really LIKE it. Nobody ever bought a Razer Diamondback mouse.

Im not really a hardcore gamer. I've only owned one other mouse before---the Logitech MX510.

It appears the successor to that is the Logitech G400...anyone think i should NOT buy that? Looks awesome to me lol.

If you're not a hardcore gamer, just pick a mouse that feels comfortable in your hand and has enough buttons for you.

I'm not a gamer and I love my Razer DeathAdder. It's similar in feel to the Logitech G500, except the DeathAdder has a symmetrical shape whereas the G500 has a hump that is higher on the right than on the left.

WTF. How many threads in how many forums are you going to ask about keyboards and mice? It's all personal preference. Go to a store and try them out.

Today my Razor Mamba (original) died. It had been acting funny for a few months, going slower all of a sudden and then recovering. Now windows says its failed and I get nothing out of it. Every moment I had that Mamba I loathed it.

I came from a Logitech G7 and before that an MX500. Its not that the Mamba is a bad mouse or that its uncomfortable, quite the contrary I loved the feel of it in my hand. No the problem I had with it was the drivers (wireless was unusable especially) and the general feel of the movement. The movement feeling is odd, it could just be its different to the logitech algorithms but whatever it was that was wrong I never in a year and a half felt fully comfortable with it. It has impacted my FPS gaming quite considerably and yet I persevered with it because its an expensive gamers mouse! But what I did like was the low height of the mouse and the general shape.

Moral of the story is - go play with the damn mouse in a store especially if its £100!
