If I recall correctly, they said that it would be, but that the company would have to add support for it, so Dell would have to add support.

Yes, it is up to certain vendors to support it. I am using the Intel NUC, and it has worked great. Intel/Razer did some partnering though as testing partners, which definitely helped ensure compatibility.

NV and AMD both released dGPU driver support as well this year, but AMD is a little ahead (from what I have seen on the Razer forums) in terms of hot-swapping.

This thing looks amazing. This is the future right here. I do wish they made a version to use a hybrid cooled card but I guess that would be a niche within a niche.

With an NUC or the laptop it's still more portable than any Mini ITX I know about.

You could conceivably mod the case to do a hybrid-cooling setup. Just might need some tools to do so. I have thought about it...😛

I am thinking about it too. That July 29th ship date is a bummer for me. I wish they'd let you bundle the laptop and the core and get them sooner. Congrats on the acquisition.

Ran a benchmark for another thread...results:

[Firestrike]Ultra 5058 on my rig; boost at 2062.5 and it stayed at max boost for most of the test; primarily between 2050 and 2062.5 based on logs.

I love the EVGA Precision X tool. I just force the max boosts and play whatever game I want with a +200 offset. Rock-solid!

Not bad if I am in fact, losing a few % thru external connection.
