Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset at TigerDirect.com

$34.99 after coupon code DJP30877 during checkout. Shipping is about $3 more.

These things usually go for $70ish, so I guess that's hawt. And some people think they're among the best gaming headsets out there.

Anyone own these? Hot or not?

Thanks. In for one using ebillme to essentially get the shipping charge back to me.

Edit: ebillme cashback is actually $7.60 (2x Thursday).

I'd like to be in but there's a problem. It may be a stupid question but where does the coupon code go? I see no spot for it throughout the checkout process. The only spot I see is the gift card code and the coupon code does not work there.

I started an order last night and was able to find the field to input a code. But now this morning I cannot find it for the life of me. Did they ninja-disable codes for this item? I'm guessing I'm just blind.

Well, live chat tells me: "You need to click on the link that advertised the code. "
hard to do when there is no link. And others have addded a code in the checkout process.

Looks like people on slickdeals are having the same problem, too. Deal may be dead?

Tried ordering late last night/early this morning (around midnight) as well and didn't see anywhere to enter a coupon code.

edit: Talked with tigerdirect, they are saying that officially the promo code was a limited time/limited funds offer that ended sometime around 8pm CST yesterday.

I place an order and at the end it ask me for the last four digits of my ss# is this normal with tigerdirect?. I just close the window and took my chances hopefully they'll send it and not cancel the order.

That sounds like the "Verify Visa" crap or whatever that program is called. You'll encounter that on many online vendor sites. It's always optional. You missed the "no thanks" or "not right now" button.

paid full price ($80) for these when my icemat siberias finally died for good.

still work, no signs of degradation.

First impressions are good. Used them in WoW Arenas last night. My team said it sounded like I was broadcasting from Tron (lol) but I think that's probably just an effects setting somewhere. They were comfy. $35 feels like a great deal so far.
