i bought a m.ed. abyss as well a while back, $24 from hong kong, and was very happy with it; thing is, i know many, many peeps who would pay that $20 for the goliathus alone. i can't believe you got both for that price .. what a steal ..

I wonder if the materials is identical to a Razer Abyssus?
If it is then I would also buy one :)

    But price seems wery cheap.

I'm not sure if its the same material but I will say this, the mouse feels solid, it is very responsive and I'm really enjoying it. For the price I would definitely get one + You get the mouse pad? DO it!. I played about 4 hours of Battlefield 3 and a few hours of other games and the mouse hasn't failed me once. It is very sensitive and it recognizes even small movement. Coming from an iHome mouse from WalMart this one is great! However "High Class" people who have owned nothing but Razer and Steele Series mouse, this might feel like crap, even thought its not.

Well that all depends on if the materials = original Razer Abyssus.
Then it makes no difference even if coming from other Razer/steel series mouse :)

BTW if you want you can try register the mouse on Razer China to see if it is original Mice, but I think it is not original Razer.

So I guess it's pretty clear that these are fake, right? I had my doubts, but I did order one from eBay around 3 weeks ago (mouse still hasn't arrived, btw).

Either way, people seem to be happy with them. Anyone has any idea what kind of sensor/PCB/switches they use? I'm asking because there's the possibility that it might be cheap but good. Otherwise, I can't be bothered with something that is fake and bad quality... I'll just have to get the real thing.

Do you have experience with other gaming mice? Because from what you had it might seem like it's the bomb, but maybe it isn't... just saying. :whiste:

Btw, I suppose you couldn't open the mouse and see what kind of sensor (etc.) it's using? It's alright if you won't, I'm just asking because that would really help me and others see what's going on with these "replicas".

Like I state on the video, if you are used to high end mice, then this is definitely not for you :). Honestly, don't even bother with it, because you won't be happy with it. And even though it turned out to be a replica I'm still happy with it, because is a very solid and nice looking mice. And for the $20 not only did I get a sexy, solid mouse but I also got a Razer Goliathus Mousepad, with free shipping! That to me is a Win/Win . If I were you I would just dish out the extra $25 and get a legit mouse from a legitimate retailer, like going to the Official Razer website. :p Good luck good sir!

    So my replica just arrived...

S/N was the same as the one in EpicSurvivor's replica. Build quality is bad: cheap plastic, cheap switches (really hard to press). The worst part is the sensor: max. polling rate of 500Hz, 3 dpi steps: 600, 1000 and 1400 (something along those lines). Oh, and the polling rate and dpi switches graze the mousepad.

So yeah, guys, not much else to say. Just don't buy it, lol. Get the real thing instead or you will regret it.

You just reiterated what I had said to you on the previous comment and on the video. You also knew about the S/N Before hand if you read 4 comments above your first comment and if you read the Youtube comments.
Told you not you buy it on the video if you are one of those people who likes high quality name brand stuff. http://youtu.be/mxZAqX1iFj4?t=5m35s (Between 5:35 and 5:55) "I don't recommend it for you"
Why you still buy it? D:

None of the switches graze the mousepad on mine, maybe you got a Lemon, Lemon (Fake) Mouse.
I can confirm that my mouse is very responsive even up to now I have had no issue with it what so ever and I have put well over 130 hours of gaming on it. Also I got the mousepad for $21, I'm happy

Lol is your money anyway, sorry should have listened to what I said. Better luck next time:whiste:

EDIT: Alright man, look, I'm sorry if I came on a little high strung and rushed reading your reply. Finals are over now, I was just very stressed.
I'm sorry you are not happy with your mouse, I understand you bought it before you read the thread and watched the video, I wish you could have seeing this thread before buying it. That way you would have had a better idea of what you were getting into, after you saw mine.

This mouse is a Chinese copy from the looks of it. But like I said on the video, if anyone has the $50 to spare on a Legit, American made (lol) Mouse from the Official retailer, then by all means avoid this.

In my case, I was on a very tight budget, and truth be told, I really thought it was going to be 100% Authentic Razer mouse when I got it. With that being said, I did get the Huge Razer Goliathus Mousepad and the Razer mouse with shipping included from china for only $20 or $21, and truth be told I'm satisfied with the way it has worked for me and the way it has held up so far.

    Good luck.

UPDATE: So I wanted to mention that I'm still using this mouse. I haven't had any issues with mine. I also wound up downloading the Razer Abyssus Update found here http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=450 The Razer software actually recognized the Device! Didn't think it would work since its a Chinese mouse but the Razer software did recognizes the mouse. I was then able to tweak the mouse settings through the Razer Software, beyond what is allowed from the default "Windows Mouse Properties". After tweaking with the settings it actually made my mouse a lot smoother and responsive in game. I would recommend giving this a try if for anyone who has bought a China brand Razer mouse, replica or not.

Hey guys, so I being using this mouse every day since I made the video. Its starting to bug out, and sometimes it feels like its missing some of my movements, like it ghost on certain movements.

Sure it looked nice, and slick and it was a good price for the Mouse and the Goliathus Mouse Pad! But its a Generic Chinese mouse with Razer branding and Logo. I thought it would be good, but its just not worth it. However I am keeping the Mousepad, because its nice for being cloth, and its pretty big so I actually like it.

But another down side to this mouse, is that it gets super Oily quick, no matter if you just watched your hands or used Hand Zanitizer which evaporates, the mouse will feel so oily that it will get slippery just on your fingers. That goes for the Real Abyssus "Mirror Edition" so in this case avoid both mice, if you are really into gaming for long periods of time.

Its being fun owning it, but I really did learn from the experience of buidling this PC and buying hte parts. Is that you do get what you pay for. Its true, and its not all made in china lol.

    So cheers to you guys!

PS: I am going to be looking for a new mouse to replace this one, because I got some set apart that I like, so I am going to do a new thread on that, see what you guys think.
