Ray McGovern 0wns Donald Rumsfeld

I take it English isn't your first language

Incidentally, I don't see Rumsfeld being "0wned" in that clip at all.

Rumsfeld was defeated in the exchange. First, when he said he had not lied, McGovern pointed out that he said he *knew* where the weapons were, and quoted him saying in his arrogant manner say8ing exactly that, listing locations. Rumsfeld tried to say he'd only said they were 'suspect' locations, and McGovern corrected him he said he knew they were there.

Then, McGovern cited his saying that there were clear, strong links between Saddam and Al Queda; Rumsfeld tried to mislead with his answer by saying Al-Zarqawi was in Baghdad before the war. McGovern pointed out how misleading it was, that he was in the north where the Kurds and not Saddam controlled, except for a hospital visit.

In fact, the official findings have been that there was no operational relationship between Saddam and Al Queda.

Pabster is wrong in every political post I've seen, and his streak goes on with his post above.

Maybe this will help you understand 😛

Rummy knew where those weapons were. Oh, no he never said that! Heh. It's like watching someone commit murder on the field at halftime during the Superbowl denying that he was ever there.

Pabster, do you actually think Rumsfeld does a good job?

Yes.

Is it possible Pabster is George W. Bush? They might be the only two people in the United States who'd say Rumsfeld is doing a good job. I don't think even any of the other conservative members here would say that.

Now that would depend on what Rummies job is wouldn't it? If the village idiot was well paid, then it would be a job well done.

Pabster is among the 25-or-so % of the US population that medical science would consider clinically brain dead. Which of course explains why they so fervently supported Terri Schiavo (that "birds of a feather" thing). His unwavering support for the administration should come as no surprise.

What is this, "For us or against us" coming from a liberal?

Yes.

And what has he accomplished in his 5-6 more recent years of service? Leaving Afghanistan to get F'd up again, while he goes and F's up Iraq?

What the hell does he do for an encore?!

Sorry, the link is corrupt and Fusetalk won't let me edit. Here's a direct link without Google's helpful highlighting: link. It's about half-way down the page.

It's kind of old, unfortunately. And I think that, sadly, the only mainstream "news source" that made light of his contradiction was The Daily Show.

"I did not lie. I just said something which was later proven to be false. That's not lying."

The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them.

You're worse than dave.

I think Pabster actually believes without question everything the right wing press tells him. Why? I have no clue, short memory perhaps?

Brain damage from eating lead paint chips would be my guess...
