Sadly, my first thought was, "sucks for him."

I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Jordan or Brett Favre got arrested in a cocaine conspiracy nowandays.

Sure he ran for 500 yards in 2 games vs the Browns, but you also realize that means he ran for 1500 yards in 14 games against the rest of the league?

FYI I hate the ravens, but saying someone sucks when it's obviously not true...

A murderer and a drug dealer, man, the Ravens are getting a reputation to rival Dallas!

Yeah he's not that good. He broke the single game rushing record this year and nearly took the single season rushing crown from Eric Dickerson. I'm sure the ravens offense won't miss him if he's in the slammer, because clearly, he's not that good.

If I was going to be signing a multi-million dollar contract I wouldn't even go in the same room with 5 keys of blow, let alone try to middle man it to a friend.
Then again, I'm not signing a multi-million dollar contract and I still wouldn't get involved in coke trafficking so I guess my opinion is kinda pointless.

Man, it's a good thing the NFL got Playmakers canned. You wouldn't want people getting the wrong idea about real NFL players or anything...

Todd Heap needs to get picked up for a sexual assault this week and then the Ravens will have a hat trick.

well, the timeline fits.

He was suspended in 2001 for cocaine.

He's gonna have a tough time beating federal charges.

What an idiot, his career is likely ruined

yeah, the NFL's argument gets more ridiculous every day. Playmakers was as real as it gets. Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders even joked on the Dan Patrick Show that DH in the show was based on Michael Irvin during his bad years.

Screw his career. I'm going to guess he's going to be found guilty since the conspiracy charge is incredibly broad. Beings as it's a Federal charge that means a mandatory minimum 5 years. Probably more with the kind of weight they're talking. There's no pleading that down or early release or anything like that with a Federal charge from what I underestand. He's royally fvcked.

a funny side note...

when I first heard this news on ESPN radio, the reporter said he was charged with intent to traffic 5 kilometers of cocaine. He said it without missing a beat and never corrected himself. I wonder how many kilograms are in a kilometer?

For trying to get coke? The dumbass was trying to score 11 POUNDS of Columbian Snow.

It wasn't like he was hitting a small line in a bathroom or something. 11 pounds is A LOT of blow.
