How do I set the resolution in the options? It lets me choose it but the game doesnt change to it. It just staying in like 800x600. Is there a apply button somewhere? Also is there a gamm/brightness in the options somewhere?

whatever resolution you choose will only apply during the gameplay, the menus itself aren't affect by this. Just choose you desired resolution and just return to the main menu and start a game. This is another annoying aspect of the game, since the high res only applys during game play, some monitors will flicker or make a clicking noise every time the game switches resolution between the menu and gameplay. This really ticks me off or should I say clicks me off!

Either using your monitor's controls, or using the brightness slider 🙂. Or download PowerStrip which allows you to change the brightness, among many many other things.

that's another negative, there's no setting for brightness in the game therefore you need to just use the nvidia properties and increase the brightness in the advanced tab but than it will brighten everything up. I don't like making everything bright for just one game that's why I just lower the blinds in the room, making the room dark and then I can see everything in game fine.

Most monitors now tell you the user mode you're running, let's say user mode 1 is set to 800x600 and user mode 2 is 1024x768, check the user mode at the menu screens and then check the user mode aftering the game has started on a map, if the user modes are still the same then there's a problem.
