but windows server 2012 r2 support it, and its no different than windows 8. and RR was not supported in windows 8. so maybe in server environment its still being supported, maybe someone managed to run it.

Managing to run it and being supported are two entirely different things.

But I'm really need it to run with Windows server 2008 r2, because I'm already have that license.

BTW if I'm using hyper-v server 2016 (it's free) will it's support gpu virtualization ? Like standard edition?

I'm thinking maybe I will just go with that's setup, install hyper-v server 2016, create VM Windows server 2008 r2, with gpu virtualization.
