I has a Rattle in my PC!!! Comes and goes, semi faint but still very distinguishable, where might this be coming from? Fans? HDD?
 
You'd need to be more specific than a rattle...I would tell you to shake your computer around but eh...is it more of a click or rattle ? If it's clicking then it's your HDD, but if it isnt a click, then it's probably your fans or maybe a loose screw.
 
i had a rattle like that once, turned out it was one of the rubber fan silencers on my megahalems hitting against the fan blade when the cooler heated up and the rubber expanded a bit. had to remount it so the silencer would expand inward to the shape of the cooler. could also be a loose screw as noted. i had another similar rattle when i lost a screw inside my case once a couple years ago

The cause could be anything that moves (HDD/fans) but the noise might be coming from your case panels. Next time you hear it, press firmly on the side panels and see if the noise goes away.
