RatPadz?

anyone recommend one? I have a MS IntelliMouse Explorer. I'm concerned about the surface. I would like something slick that will give me greater precision than the table i have it on.

speaking of mice, anyone know of anything to increase the precision on this baby? I find it could be a bit more precise. I was thinking along the lines of ps/2 rate plus.

I've heard RatPadz are great, even for optical mice. I have the 3M PMS (Precision Mousing Surface ) and it's been good for me so far.

Had the 3M PMS ( I have the intellimouse optical) and got a ratpad , and it is WAYYYY better!!!!! It doesn't slide in games, and is a lot more durable and lasts longer. Make sure your desk has room though!

Had a 3M PMS also, before I switched over to a fUnc Surface 1030. Best thing I've ever done for my mouse. Smooth, doesn't slide around, etc..

I have an everglide. The RatzPadz are basically a ripped off version of an everglide. Both have the same surface, really. I got mine for $12 with the Q3 logo on it I have an IntelliMouse Explorer also and it's a deadly combo.

 

Surface 1030 is the one and only mousing surface.
Optical works great on it.

they all good, Everglide (i have one), ratpadz, and func surface... if you have optical make sure to get a black pad though... optical mice don't like light colors...

i hate optical mice, ive always had problems with them when i move it really fast (like in battle in quake3) jumps around then points straight down
