Rating Women on a 1 to 10 scale

Ever since the movie 10, my friend and I have rated every woman we see. Most fall into the 3-6 catagory. Now, this has nothing to do with personality, charm, or voice. Only external beauty. We do have a special rating called a NWR, which stands for Not Worth Rating. Does anyone else do this, either mentally or verbally?

some of my friends have a beer scale, like how many beers until you think the girl is a knockout or sleep with them.


its based on a six pack scale. 0-1 beer the girl is already hot, a six pack, good lord im desperate, or theres more than a six pack, that usually means you rather pass out and pretend you never saw her.

1 to 10 for looks is ok but I find most of the interesting people in the 3-8 range and some higher and lower.

If the girls were rating you (on looks alone, never mind your other deficiencies) What would you be? (Not just Wangel)

I've got an overly complicated system with two axis:
1. Cuteness
2. Beauty

So the ideal woman would peg both scales. Kind of like every
teen movie made in the 80's where the guy would flip over the
beautiful girl but finally go for the "unattractive" (who was
really just cute) girl because she's so much nicer, blah, blah.

So an ice princess like Maryln Monroe might peg the beauty scale, but score lower on the cute scale. A counter example would be a Sandy Duncan type who is cute, but not really beautiful.

How about the half a girl rating... if she looks good from behind but looks like a dog in the front, that's half a girl.

I still don't understand the ratings thing. Either she's attractive or she's not. Then, when you get to know her, it changes. What's the POINT!?

Think of it like the status for members here.

Once in a blue moon, the mods will eventually think you're better, better than the maggot member or senior member you once were. as they get to know you. I think. I'm not sure. Crap. I'm so lost now. When's my V5 5500 coming. Are people thinking I'm stupid? Maybe I should finish this up. Yipes. Blah. Pluh. Will I ever be elite?

You see, if guys had a rating, I would get the NWR...but once I start talking sensibly, I can get rated. Just like when you think no girl like you, until you get one girl to go out with you. One girl who is waaay into honesty, and "thou shall not look at another ass but mine" type girl. Anyways, then other girls somehow get interested in you. You're rating worthy.

This is a qualtiy scale my friends and I made up.
I think it works very well.

1 - Butt Ugly
2 - Plain Ugly
3 - Average w/ a few imperfections
4 - Average, nothing special
5 - Attractive
6 - Pretty
7 - Cute/Hot - your preference
8 - Cute/Hot w/ potential for Gorgeous
9 - Gorgeous
10- Friggin' perfect

Now for the explanantion:
point scales can be used (example: 6.7) and most girls get between 3 - 7

1 and 10 are extremely hard to get... that is you have to be REAL ugly or like REAL perfecto to get them. I'd say 1 person in 2500 is a 1 or 10.

I like cute over hot so I'd make 8 Cute and 7 Hot, but that is just my preference.

of course these ratings are all relative, like everything else.

So now you know the system... and if you ever see some guy calling out numbers to my friends referring to girls, it might be me.

Also, attractive is in that place because my friends and I figured saying someone is "attractive" isn't much of a compliment, but its still goood.

Edit: We usually take into account personality too if we know her, if not, we don't
