Foxconn NF4UK8AA-8EKRS Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

After doing a lot of research and asking for suggestions, I've never heard the name Foxconn come up, so I'm a little worried about the quality of this board. But all of it's reviews are positive, it's one the highest rated boards on newegg, and it has all of the features I need.

I'm going to be running a Athlon 64 3200+ with 1 gb of memory and a GeForce 6600 GT OC 128 mb video card. Does everything check out? And also, is there a big difference between the Venice core and the Winchester core? Because the Venice is about $20 more, and I don't know if it's worth getting it over the Winchester. Thanks for any help. :)

I think their boards are fine. If not you can return it. Foxconn has been around quite a while. Venice has SSE3 instruc set and oc pretty daRn well. Pay the extra $20 I say. If you are really into oc'ing look into the oc'ing/vcore/vdimm voltage options on that board. They might limit ya.

It's a fair board, pretty good. Get the Venice, it has an improved memory controller, plus SSE3 (or whatever it's calleD) support.
