Answers To Your Questions
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
My PC will be used 90% for gaming. I already have a black Macbook laptop and a family computer in my house, so I will primarily use those for normal computer functions such as internet browsing, typing up documents, and so on. However, I would also like options to be open for my new computer to also perform these basic functions as well as maybe some other, slightly more advanced functions (video editing, installing a TV Tuner, etc.).
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
I would like to keep it right around where I have it right now ($1200), but I guess $100 more would be a possibility.
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
USA
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.
No preferences.
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
None except maybe some old speakers.
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes, I've been researching this for awhile.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
I plan on overclocking unless someone can convince me otherwise.
8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Very soon. I plan on making purchases within the next month.
Alright, now that those are out of the way let's get to my build...
