Is there a reason you're buying a SATA cable? Your motherboard has one included. Do you have another hard drive maybe? If you don't need the extra cable, you could use the cash towards a Seagate hard drive instead of the Samsung. Four bucks for an extra two years of warranty coverage.

Why are we hung up on the SATA cable? The main problem is going to be the motherboard. The processor you are getting is a Core 2 Duo, but the motherboard only supports Pentium D/Pentium 4 HT/Celeron D processors. See <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbar...t/product.asp?item=N82E16813157092</a>">here</a> for the information from the source.

Edit: Other than the motherboard problem, it's a good build in my opinion.

Edit 2: Ignore my first post, it supposedly does support conroe chips, just newegg doesn't say it does.

Ditch the crappy thermaltake PSU and get a fortron for a little more. Thermaltake PSU's have weak 12v rails, which is the most important rail for a modern PC..

Ugly case, and I hate doors lol. May bust your budget, but I would think 2gb ram would be a better choice for a dual core proc.
