The intended purpose (in this order of priority):
1. Function as a Pro-sumer grade Digital Audio/Video Workstation for home studio recording and some light music video production.
2. Do some moderate gaming from time to time.
3. Perform other run of the mill computer workstation tasks (like surfing AT :thumbsup: )

On Board Sound by Realtek (But what??! You said this was for a home studio!! Where is the E-MU or Hammerfall soundcard!!!?? - Not to worry, I've got some very nice FireWire and USB audio interfaces from both Alesis and Tascam to handle the REAL sound processing work...)
