Rate my revised build.....

Ok, the is my very first build. I have the knowledge to build and overclock it if I wanted.
My case is not properly ventilated for the extra heat of overclocking and I would like a silent build anyway. So here goes:
ASUS A8N32-SLi Deluxe
X2 3800
eVGA 7900GT
ASUS Optical Drive
WD 250GB Sata-II 3.0gb/sec transfer 16mb cache
OCZ Platinum PC3200
Seasonic S12 500w PSU
XG Dragon Case (Already Purchased)


This is strictly a gaming rig, so I am interested in what processor would be best. Keep in mind I do not want to overclock this rig.

EDIT: This is around 1600$ I wish I could cut some money off of it becase I need 100$ for my Icemat siberias 🙁

We are going to need a bit more info on that RAM. How much, how many sticks? This would make good RAM.

Idk lol the old rig was gonna have G.Skill PC4000 but I need an un overclocked stable pc. Just show me some low latency 2GB memory please.

Hmmm, I like. Anyway wtf is up with newegg and tax. ZZF doesnt have tax I dont think.

They also don't have much of a variety for DDR400 RAM.

for a gaming PC, the 3800+ should do fine. also, since you can overclock, the 3800+ will have more value (commonly overclocks to 2.7 or higher).
