I give it an 8... very clean and professional, I think you need to condense it to one page though, which is usually the standard unless you've been working full-time for more than 5 years. Maybe shorten/combine some of the bullet points?

need to put you address and phone number on it. Companies hate searching for that info. Put it at the top with your name.

I'd have to agree. No one cares about High School period.

I second that. Contact info should be placed right below your name :)

I don't really like the objective. Seems to me that companies wouldn't care about you expanding your knowledge. The point of working for them is to increase their productivity. Could be wrong though.

i don't know about that. Unless you really need the space (which you might in this case to make it one page), I would leave the high school on there. Who knows, someone might have gone to the same school as you or at least be familiar with that school (any little bit could help). I would only include it as one line, though (no one will realy care about your gpa and/or classes from HS).

Yes, only 1 page is needed. Besides it's not good to have a standard resume, you need to write a resume for each job you apply for unless you are only applying for 1 type of job.

IMHO people want to know what you have done and what you are capable of doing not about your knowledge expansion goals.

- Where's your skills section ?

- Links in a PDF should be clickable if you're going to make it stand-out like that.

Didn't know you could have links in a pda.

Get rid of the links (underlined)

Any honors? Certs? clubs? extra curricular activites?

Companies don't want a pure geek, they look for someone that is well rounded, ex. social life

Too much white space!

:)

well, its 2 pages, I think thats the biggest problem. Yuo dont have to get so descriptive in your job listings. Just hit the major keywords "linux" "administration" "java", etc. If they need anymore information about a position they will ask you.

I agree that you should try to cut it to one page. You really don't want to go over one unless you have been working for a long time or you are in a field that requires very specific qualifications (engineering, physical sciences...). Other than that it looks good, good luck finding a job.

ok been updated...
removed "objectives" since it really served no purpose and I ahve no idea what a good "objective" is in this day an age apart from "desperately searching for a job" :)
removed HS information since it really ment nothing (didnt score well on AP tests...I just liked the high GPA)
Changed "interests" to skills (as per looking at monster.com and formatting resume on there) and formatted it more for that purpose kinda...
Linked looking text has been removed (stupid word conversions)
and since some people I guess didn't make sence of my original posting (I had no address on there since i didn't want it to go out all over these boards)...theres a fake one there now along with some "references"...
Its down to one page now :D I find that kinda surprizing though. As an ass manager at my current Job hiring web designers I have scene like 3+ page resumes and anyone with anything less went to the bottom of the stack...we considered people with that little experience "risky"...and it has proven to be correct...my original resume was 4 pages with all of my experiences and it got me about 10 diff web designer positions/jobs over the years...

This resume is for a job fair sorta thing...where you pretty much have no way to tailor it specifically for each position. I have no idea who or what will be there nor what positions might be open. Therefore I'm trying to keep it fairly generic and encompassing at the same time.
