I haven't tested my max memory frequency or my max cpu frequency yet. I heard these ram sticks can go up to 265mhz from a review. I'm not sure how high my CPU Frequency can go though. Should I drop my multi down to 10 and run a divider enstead of 1:1? I'm pretty excited about this 40% overclock and I would like to tweek a littlebit more. Coments, suggestions, improvments would help me alot!

Thanks,
Brian

2860 on a 3700+ is very nice, and on very sane voltage

OC only one thing at a time to find limits. CPU should run Prime small FFT for at least 12 and preferably 24 hours to ensure complete stability. If it can run 3 1/2 hours on 1.488 that's very promising. It may need a bit more to pass a 12-24 test, but not much more. Run it and see. Don't let RAM or other things interfere, slow them down, drop them out of the picture - CPU speed > *. Make everything else work around that once you find its max.

Looks awesome!

3 Hours is not enough for stability though.. Keep pushing.. I would bump those volts.. You easily have 2.95ghz in there!

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'll run Prime95 over night tonight and see how that goes. Just to make sure it passes the overnight test, I'll set my cpu voltage at 1.5125 and ddr voltage at 2.7 (resonable?). So you guys wouldn't suggest droping the multi to 10, and trying to increase my cpu freq?

I would leave the volts at 1.488. See if that passes overnight. If it does, shoot for 2915 and save the extra voltage for that test if needed. 🙂

Congratulations you have the fastest chip on the whole planet at 2860GHz!

I noticed that, but decided to let someone else razz him for it 😀
