rate don's newest site

I was expecting crappy code, but very nice minimalistic markup. I'd keep everything lowercase (like the H1 tag), give the style sheet something like "main.css" or "style.css", have more semantic names (not top, but #header... or something that implies meaning)

Oops, on to the actual design... I think the header (banner, masthead, whatever) should be around 100-150 pixels high, yours is around 200+. I would use a smaller font size for the graphic text, zero out the margins, add some images (of people?), add some more text, lower the left margin/padding on the navigation, have some hover effect...

Gj on using proper markup though.

if i was chinese

LIM is ranked number 1958 among last names in the United States.
LIM is the last name of 0.006 % of the US population

but i'm really english

According to the data from the latest Unted States Census: LIMB is ranked number 26355 among last names in the United States.

LIMB is the last name of less than .001 % of the US population

My aesthetic observation is that it might look a little ncie if you bring everything towards the middle, via padding, margins etc.

The rest of the site is displayed rather nicely I have to say.

Looks fine for me. I like the helix graphic. It would be cool if you could include some origin info on people's last names in the results.

Sucks having a hyphenated domain name though.
