I think these are the most useful tools ever made. Ever! I use them almost exclusively now. Sorry Ratchet.

The closed end has a built in ratchet. I used to use a similar model back in my manufacturing days. Very nice to have around.

Got a set of metric and a set of standard ratcheting wrenches for christmas. Very nice, but I wonder if they are as durable. Oh well, that's what warranties are for!

I own a set made by KD for over six years and only broke one during that time.

yes but the problem is that I'd need sizes ranging from 4-5mm up to 20mm or so to be useful... along with sae... just seems not worth it.

I definitely agree. There are a few places in my engine that those are the only tool for the job.

Probably right. I use from about 8mm - 14mm most often.
