sup all.. my 4870x2 works fine from first boot ... thats it.. fine... but if I restart... the computer doesnt get up after the down phase of the restart.... Everytime i restart i need to push the reset switch to get the computer back....

works fine in windows by the way... but the restart issue is really bugging me...

K9A2 CF board... and all teh regular stuff like board soundcard... amd processor and 4gb memory...

So when did this start happening? What changed that might be causing a problem like adding hardware or software?

hey guys i figure out the overclock is messing the computer around... but is kinda stupid... 2200 processor up to 2387 and it get the issue... I notice that also the computer overheats and shut... but is more the board getting the heat on it... the CPU sensors doesnt show much temp and the heatsink of the processor is fine... but the one below it .. i mean the northbridge or whateverbridge is heatsink... is cooking beacon....

after a while i notice all that thing closer like the gpu.. the memory.. chipset and the 4870x2 is making a big hill of heat lol!

was thinking on moving the card to the second pcie slot... a bit far from the processor and add some air sucker around... the question is...

is the card going to perform slower if i move them to the second pcie slot.... is two addicional inches away from the processor and such... ?

No, it will run exactly the same as both slots are x16. I would throw in a small fan (maybe 60mm or 80mm) and point it right at the NB heatsink or get an aftermarket NB heatsink.
