Rare error in the Simpson's

The Simpson's is a near flawless production...but I know the episodes very well, and picked out a rare error yesterday When Homer's group is performing at the church, near the beginnig, Wiggum was still in the group, and they were still nameless. They adopt the name after picking up Barney. However, before the performance at the church, the sign outside reads "The Be Sharps".....tsk tsk

nice pickup... but bah. they make small mistakes all the time. how many times does homer (or bart, or anyone) look down at their wrist and see a watch that wasn't there before? and later it's gone?

Excuse me, but in episode 384F7, itchy plays scratchy's ribs like a xylaphone...he hits the same rib twice in a row, producing two distinct tones. Are we to believe this is some sort of magic xylaphone?

(I'm paraphrasing here, gimme a break. I haven't seen that episode for at least a year.)

They also include Maggie as is convenient. She'll be in the car for the ride to someplace, nowhere to be found while they're there and not in the car on the way back. A lot of things happen that are just to be funny; that's why it's so great. The best one is when Springfield gets a second area code (636). The beginning starts off with the badger when Homer gets severly mauled. You can see straight through to his stomach. This isn't mentioned again throughout the rest of the show.

there was a mistake in tonights 6pm show, right at the end. It was the episode where Homer becomes an inventor. When they are all sitting on the couch watching the news program, and then they show the automatic hammer that Edison supposedly made, and then it goes back to showing the Simpon family, Homer is no longer on the couch but in his new chair he invented.
